ADJ-DRP tran type happening in drop shipment and value is coming zero in DRP-CUS
Issue :-
Drop shipment entry transaction system automatically do the variance transaction and set of the cost with respective variance and zero cost moving from PUR-DRP to DRP-CUS.
Root Cause :-
Please check in Part Master costing method If costing method is selected as standard then system check part cost and drop PO cost and If any variance found then system by default create ADJ-DRP entry of that variance cost amount.
There's a difference between the PO price and the Standard Cost, so, the ADJ-DRP is necessary. This is because the PUR-DRP gets the costs from the PO while the DRP-CUS gets the costs from the Standard Costs. In order to balance the Drop Ship GL account, we have to debit/credit it with the variance. The PUR-STK includes the material burden as part as inventory but PUR-DRP never goes into inventory directly.
If Avg costing method is selected then system will move cost from PUR-DRP to DRP-CUS..
