Unable to Log On - Could not load file or assembly Epicor.ServiceModel

Issue :- 

Cloud Smart Client - Unable to Log On - Could not load file or assembly Epicor.ServiceModel


Description: -
 User could not abale to login Application. System throwing error "Message: Could not load file or assembly 'Epicor.ServiceModel, Version=X.X.X00.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=37a5ccb872c00aec' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Solution :- 

- Make a copy of the shortcut for the affected environment
- Rename the copied shortcut to something like "Epicor - Pilot - Force Update"
- Right click the shortcut and select Properties
- In the Target  field, add /UPDATE after Epicor.exe so it looks something like this:
 C:\Epicor\ERPDT\Client\Epicor.exe /UPDATE /config=SaaSnnnPilot.sysconfig
- Click OK to save the changes
- Double click the new shortcut, you should see the client updating

After a few minutes, the client will be updated to the latest version.

Repeat these steps for all affected environments.
